Kiriko Made Japanese Fabric Pocket Square Made in Portland Katazome Black

Kiriko's premium pocket squares feature unique prints sourced and imported from their Japanese heritage manufacturer and a folded, stitched edge that maintains its shape however its worn.

This print mimics traditional Katazome a traditional Japanese stencil dyeing technique. Katazome incorporates elements of printmaking and painting, and relies on simple natural materials such as rice paste and soymilk. It is essentially an early prototype for what we know today as screen printing.

Each pocket square is sewn, pressed and packaged by hand in Portland, Oregon.
