The classic Montagnard Bracelet was given to soldiers as a symbol of friendship and respect. Chen explained to us the incredible impact, meaning, and significance of these bracelets. Each individual piece is hand-cut and shaped, then carved by hand with symbols referring to luck, life, and death. Chen still helps train U.S. Special Forces at Fort Bragg, N.C. to this day. The John Wayne Bracelet was given to soldiers as a symbol of friendship and respect by the Montagnard tribe. We named this style of braclet (bearing no etching) after "Duke" as he was given one by Montagnards during the filming of "The Green Berets". Not only did Duke don the bracelet on his wrist until the day he passed, it's said he lays with it to this day. Each piece is hand cut and shaped by Chen, a Montagnard warrior who fought alongside the Green Berets during the Vietnam War and packed in original Vietnam magazine surrender bags.
